This desert walk we share May not lead anywhere. There is no road to hold, And time just makes us old, Like wine and diamonds. I’m in it for the view, I think that you are too, This emptiness is a nature, Much like human nature, So, desolate we seek, Wine and diamond.
You have aged me well, Time is left to tell, How it goes about, But I have no doubt, That together we are well, As we draw water, From time’s wisdom. Wine and diamond.
Remarking on the highlights of the absent horizon: The uncertainty, The mystery, The present, The moment, The slow adventure,
We grow to understand it, on how it carries us, everywhere, all the time.
Wine and diamond, Hand in hand, Survives the storm, Skies of sand, Dusty and dry, With nowhere to go, But not too worried As all life is so.
She says, element Is where we are from, And I guess its how you feel That makes a good life one.
It doesn’t matter where you are When you too are one As everyone is one
