I'm very happy to have gotten Kim Barlow on the show. She has been a favorite musician of mine since I first heard her song, 'Slim Pickens'. It was a convenience too good to ignore that she was having her cd release party for 'champ' in Vancouver the next evening and it turned out that the stars were indeed aligned when I managed to book her for the show.

Barlow is a special songwriter that comes from a really raw perspective and paints moments and events in life that will make you smile because you know how true it is. From the Yukon and born in Nova Scotia Barlow is from the simple small town way of life that invites community spirited events such as song circles. She was a natural guest to the show and I'm thrilled to have met her.
